Gygabyte GSmart Rola : Dual-SIM Smartphone Froyo Worth 175 Euros

Gigabyte is getting ready to launch a new dual-SIM smartphone that runs on the Android operating system v2.2 Froyo. GSmart handsets named Rola is planned to be released at a price of 175 euros, or about IDR 2,000,000 in Q1 2011.

Having previously had launched its GSmart S1205 dual-SIM running on Windows Mobile 6.5, Gigabyte seems to want to strengthen their business position by relying more dual-SIM mobile phone air-OS Android.

One of them is GSmart Rola who appear confident with an area of 3.2-inch touchscreen WQVGA resistive, 528 MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, microSD slot, and a 3 megapixel camera fixed-focus.

In terms of connectivity, capacity Rola presents a fairly complete, including Wi-Fi, quad-band GSM, 3G HSDPA support, GPS with aGPS support and a digital compass, Bluetooth and even FM radio. But apparently, support for 3G will be available only in one SIM only.
